After completing the design of their Highland Park residence, it was a pleasure to collaborate once again with this longtime client. The full renovation of the kitchen and family room became an exploration of contrast and dynamic form, balancing bold gestures with thoughtful detail.

Custom millwork—an essential element in many of my projects—plays a central role here. A striking bookcase, crafted from blackened steel and figured walnut, anchors the space and offers a compelling counterpoint to the dramatic kitchen design.

Throughout the condominium, distinctive furnishings, sculptural lighting, and carefully curated art create a cohesive flow, lending the home a sense of continuity, character, and quiet sophistication.
